Triple Threats
Alexander and I both played 8 letter words on Monday night which were from high probability combinations that had 3 possible anagrams. In my case I knew ORIENTAL, RELATION, TAILERON. There are two normal words there, but I needed the unusual one – TAILERON – to get the best score.
Alexander’s combo of AUNTLIER, RETINULA, TENURIAL didn’t have any commonly used words. He played TENURIAL, but he quoted all 3 words.
A Grade Challenge
Just 3 racks for you this week. However, every rack has 3 answers, so there are 9 words for you to find:
A C E L O R S S
A B E I L N S S
A E E G L R S S
Each combination has a double S. There are a few answers that are the plural of a 7 letter word, but many of them are not.
B & C Grade Study List
Here are 12 more high prob triple threat 8 letter combos.
This week I won’t give you the meanings, just say the three words together. Maybe the phrase will come to you if you spot one of these words, so then you will remember the other two. That is the way my brain works, but everyone has a different brain. If knowing the meaning is important to your learning process, then look them up. For me that just gets in the way of thinking of them as bang, bang, bang.
