BARFLIES

BOTFLIES

DAYFLIES   Anagrams to LADYFIES

GADFLIES   Anagrams to GASFIELD

MAYFLIES

MEDFLIES

SAWFLIES

OUTFLIES

The last word is the one that is a verb and not the plural of a noun. (Although a barfly is a person rather than an actual fly) It is also the only one that will take a hook. -- G for GOUTFLIES

Alexander’s rack was a blank with AEGILS and he had a D on the board to play around. The only possible Triple-Triple was GADFLIES. Well done for finding it. While 131 is a very nice score, if he had an actual F instead of the blank the Triple-Triple would have been worth an amazing 203

Happy Scrabbling
